If you enjoy cooking Pakistani food and are looking for recipes, videos of LIVE shows, totkas, and other food stories in both Urdu and English, subscribe to this Youtube channel or go to our Website: https://www.masala.tv/  TARTAR SAUCE: Ingredients: Mayonnaise    1 cup  Chopped pickled cucumber ½ cup  Dill (chopped)   1 tbsp  Lemon juice    1 tsp  Sugar     1 tsp  Black pepper   ¼ tsp  Chopped onion    2 tbsp   Method:  Combine everything well and serve with fish fingers.  FISH FINGERS: Ingredients: Fish fingers   300 gm  Salt    ½ tsp  Lemon juice   2 tbsp  Turmeric powder  ½ tsp  Red chili flakes  ½ tsp  Crushed black pepper ½ tsp  Ginger garlic paste  1 tsp  Flour    2 tbsp  Rice flour   1 tsp  Corn flour   2 tsp  Eggs    2  Baking soda   ¼ tsp  Bread crumbs   1 cup  Oil     for frying  Method: Marinate fish fingers with salt, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili flakes, crushed black pepper and ginger garlic paste. Mix flour, rice flour, corn flour, egg and baking soda in another bowl. Add the marinated fish in this mixture and keep aside for 10 minutes. Coat the fish fingers with bread crumbs. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the fish fingers until golden brown. Drain. Serve hot with Ketchup or Tartar sauce.   ENERGY BITES: Ingredients: Pitted dates  100gm   Walnuts    100gm  Pumpkin seeds  50gm Oats   50gm   Cocoa powder  2 tbsp Peanut butter  2 tbsp Orange juice & zest  of 1 orange Method: Place all the ingredients and 3 tbsp orange juice in a food processor. Blitz until chopped and starting to clump together. If it’s a bit dry, add a drop more orange juice. Roll the mixture into walnut-sized balls with lightly oiled hands. Add 2 or 3 into a lunchbox for a snack. Keeps in a sealed container for 2 weeks in the fridge  BROWNIE MINT TRIFLE: INGREDIENTS: Crumbled brownies 6-7 Vanilla pudding mix 1 cup Milk   2 cups Mint essence  ½ tsp Green food color  3 drops Cream   8 oz Icing sugar   1 tbsp Green Sprinkles   as required For Vanilla Pudding Mix: Caster sugar  1 cup Corn flour   ¾ cup Dry milk powder  ¾ cup Salt   1 tsp Vanilla essence   1 tsp Method: For pudding mix whisk together the sugar, corn flour, dry milk powder, and salt; set aside. Add essence and mix well and store in a jar. To make pudding Combine 2 cups milk with ½ cup of the pudding mix in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, and then immediately reduce the heat to a simmer and continue whisking until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Let sit for at least 5 minutes before serving.  Once the pudding is set, stir in mint essence and green food coloring. Set aside. Beat cream until stiff peaks form. Add in the icing sugar, and beat again. In a small glasses or a trifle dish, layer brownie bites, followed by a layer of pudding, followed by a large dollop of whipped cream. Repeat layers one more time. Top with a few extra brownie crumbles and green sprinkles.'
